After clinching the victory, Leipzig eased off the pace to secure not only a crucial win but also their first Bundesliga clean sheet in three matches. On the other hand, Holstein Kiel’s poor form persists, leaving them with just five points after 13 games.

Frankfurt 2-2 Augsburg

A flurry of goals in the second half led to an exciting 2-2 draw between Eintracht Frankfurt and Augsburg, allowing the home team to maintain their unbeaten league status at Deutsche Bank Park, even though their four-match winning streak in the Bundesliga was halted. After four goals were scored in just 19 minutes, neither team was able to find a late winner, resulting in a six-point gap between Frankfurt and the league leaders, Bayern Munich.

Bochum 0-1 Werder Bremen

Bochum’s search for their first league win of the season continues after suffering a 1-0 loss to Werder Bremen at the Vonovia Ruhrstadion. This defeat marks Bochum’s third consecutive Bundesliga match without scoring a goal. Bremen, on the other hand, successfully secured three points, allowing them to rise to 10th place in the standings. Bochum remains at the bottom of the Bundesliga table, now trailing FC Heidenheim in the relegation play-off spot by eight points.

Bayern 4-2 Heidenheim

Jamal Musiala scored helping Bayern Munich end a brief winless period with a crucial 4-2 win, while also keeping their perfect record against Heidenheim across all competitions. The match was effectively decided when Musiala broke free to net his second goal, ensuring the three points stayed in Munich. Bayern now holds a six-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga table, making it seem likely that another title will be heading to Bavaria this season.

Although they managed to equalize, the draw does not significantly enhance Gladbach’s standing in the league, as Gerardo Seoane’s team is currently in 11th place. Meanwhile, Dortmund holds onto 6th place.

Wolfsburg 4-3 Mainz

Jonas Wind entered the game as a substitute and scored two goals for VfL Wolfsburg, helping the team recover from trailing three times against Mainz 05 to earn three points and extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to eight games. Hoffenheim remains in a precarious position just above the relegation zone, while Freiburg is among several teams that could potentially compete for European football this season.
