St Etienne 3-1 Reims

Augustine Boakye scored two goals within seven minutes in the second half, marking his first for AS St. Étienne, helping the team secure a 3-1 comeback win over Reims. This victory lifted St. Étienne out of the Ligue 1 relegation zone and provided a positive foundation for the team, as it was only their second win in six league games. Meanwhile, Reims has now gone five matches without a win in the top division.

Lille 1-1 Nantes

Matthis Abline’s late penalty allowed Nantes to break their three-game losing streak against Lille, as they rallied from a goal down to secure a 1-1 draw in Ligue 1. Nantes’ determined reaction after falling behind provides Antoine Kombouaré with optimism that his team can distance themselves from the relegation zone, as they now sit a point below the drop.

Strasbourg 3-1 Auxerre

Strasbourg continued their impressive streak against AJ Auxerre by overcoming an early deficit to secure a tough 3-1 win, maintaining their unbeaten home record against Auxerre in Ligue 1 matchups for more than two decades. This win propels Strasbourg into the upper half of the Ligue 1 standings, just one point shy of ninth-placed Auxerre, who are still struggling with their away form.

RC Lens 0-1 Toulouse

A penalty in the second half allowed Toulouse to maintain their momentum from 2024, achieving a 1-0 victory against 10-man Lens and marking their sixth win in the last eight matches across all competitions. Although Frankowski and Gabin Capuano made strong efforts to equalize for the home team, they were unsuccessful, resulting in Will Still’s squad ending their unbeaten streak in the league at three games.

Angers 2-0 Brest

Angers significantly improved their chances of staying in Ligue 1 with a tough 2-0 win against Brest, who experienced their fourth straight away league loss for the first time since December 2019. Dujeux’s team climbed to 14th in the standings, now one point ahead of Nantes, who are in the relegation play-off spot. On the other hand, Brest dropped to 12th place, making last season’s third-place finish feel like a long-ago achievement.

Marseille 5-1 Le Havre

Marseille distanced themselves from the other teams trailing PSG in Ligue 1 by defeating Le Havre 5-1 at Stade Vélodrome. This victory marks their sixth consecutive match without a loss and leaves Le Havre with five straight defeats. Marseille has now gone 21 matches without losing to Le Havre and appears to be on track to secure a spot in next season’s Champions League.
