Burkina Faso come into this game after a 1-0 quarter final win over Tunisia. Burkina Faso have two wins from their five games played in the AFCON, losing a game and a draw in two games. Burkina Faso head into their semi-final game unbeaten in 10 of their last 11 games across all competitions, winning and drawing five games each with their only defeat coming against hosts Cameroon in the group stage.
Senegal are unbeaten in their five AFCON games so far, winning three games and drawing two games whiles netting six goals and conceding one goal in the process. They come into this game after a 3-1 victory over Equatorial Guinea in the quarter final. Senegal started the tournament slowly but they can now say they are in full stride to get the needed win to aid them have back to back appearances in the finals of the AFCON.

Prediction
This is going to be a very tricky game for both sides as both teams will think they have what it takes to subdue the other due to their improving form in the tournament. But, I will tip Senegal to edge the win here because of their star man Sadio Mane and their solid defense. Burkina Faso are no walkovers though, and Aliou Cisse’s men will have to bring their A game to stand a chance of getting into the final.
