Antony faces further accusations from 2 other women

Manchester United footballer Antony finds himself embroiled in a fresh wave of accusations as two additional women have come forward with claims against the 23-year-old.

This development follows allegations of abuse made by his former girlfriend, Gabriela Cavallin, which led to Antony being dropped from the Brazilian national team ahead of World Cup qualifying matches against Bolívia and Peru.

While United issued a statement expressing their commitment to taking the matter involving Gabriela Cavallin seriously, the club has chosen not to comment on the latest accusations at this time. Antony has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

The allegations have sparked investigations both in Brazil and Manchester. Notably, court documents seen and reported by ESPN suggest that Antony called a United employee to attend to Gabriela Cavallin after she sustained injuries in a Manchester hotel room.

It is further alleged that the club employee arranged for a private doctor to visit Cavallin, possibly to avoid hospitalization where questions about the incident would arise.

Law student Rayssa de Freitas has alleged that she required hospital treatment following an incident in May of the previous year when she was reportedly attacked by Antony and Mallu Ohana, the ex-wife of Brazilian player Dudu. The altercation is said to have occurred in Antony’s Land Rover after the trio left a Sao Paulo nightclub.

In a separate interview with Record TV in Brazil, Ingrid Lana, a 33-year-old banker, claimed that Antony had been aggressive toward her in October.

The DJ and influencer Gabriela Cavallin, the winger’s former girlfriend, has previously made several allegations against the Manchester United star, further intensifying the controversy surrounding him.

Manchester United, however, vehemently denies any attempts to cover up Antony’s behavior. The club issued a statement categorically refuting the claims of a cover-up as “categorically false.”

As investigations continue, Manchester United has not confirmed or denied Antony’s availability for future matches. The club’s Premier League campaign is set to resume after the international break, with a home game against Brighton scheduled for September 16. The former Ajax winger, who arrived at Old Trafford in an £85 million deal from Ajax in 2022, has featured in four matches this season. The situation remains fluid as the legal and ethical aspects of the allegations continue to unfold.
