The Premier League team Everton announced on Sunday that they have secured the services of Dutch forward Arnaut Danjuma on a loan deal for the entire season.
Danjuma, who previously played for Bournemouth for two years, joined Villarreal in 2021 before making the move to Everton.
Everton came close to securing the signing of Arnaut Danjuma in January, but the Dutch player decided to join Tottenham Hotspur on loan for the remainder of the previous season instead.
“I know I did not move to the club in January, that was because there was some uncertainty over the manager situation at that time, but I think it makes it even more beautiful for me to join now,” Danjuma said.
“I am very grateful to be at the club and I can’t wait to play in front of the fans as well.”
Last season, Everton ended in 17th place, just one position above the relegation zone. Their Premier League season starts on August 12th with a home match against Fulham.
