Barcelona has been scheduled to start their title defence against Getafe next season
According to the Spanish Football Association (RFEF), Barcelona will start their defense of the Spanish league title by playing against Getafe on August 13th, while Real Madrid will visit Athletic Bilbao during the same weekend.
The first Clasico of the season between Barcelona and Real Madrid will take place on October 29th at the Montjuic Olympic Stadium, as the Camp Nou is currently being renovated. The two teams will face each other again on April 21st, 2024 at the Santiago Bernabeu on matchday 32.
The last weekend of LaLiga could be an intense finale to the season, as Barcelona plays against Europa League winners Sevilla, Real Madrid hosts Real Betis, and Real Sociedad, a Champions League team, hosts Atletico Madrid led by Diego Simeone.
There will be no football games on New Year’s Eve because the Christmas break will be from December 20th to January 2nd.
The Spanish Super Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia from January 10th to 14th, and the four teams participating will be Barcelona, Real Madrid, Osasuna, and Atletico. The Copa del Rey will begin on November 1st, and the final will take place on April 6th at La Cartuja stadium in Seville.
The 2023-24 LaLiga season will start on Friday, August 11th, and conclude on Sunday, May 26th, 2024.
