However, their lead was short-lived as Manchester United made a comeback, equalizing through Christian Eriksen and Casemiro. Joe Worrall was then sent off, leaving Forest with 10 men.

Despite their efforts to hold off Manchester United, they ultimately lost the match due to a penalty from Bruno Fernandes. Forest also suffered a defeat in the EFL Cup against Burnley. Although their record of three defeats in four games is not ideal, they can still be proud of their performances against Arsenal and Manchester United. They currently sit in 14th place in the table.
