FC Manchester City News: Pep Guardiola has been reported to eye leaving City when his contract with the expires
The extremely successful manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, is allegedly planning to leave the team when his deal expires in the summer of 2025. In the past, there were rumors that he may look for coaching positions with an overseas team or in Italy. The most recent reports, nevertheless, point to a shift in his perspective.
Guardiola has done a tremendous job throughout his time at Manchester City. He has had tremendous success since joining the club in the summer of 2016, helping it win multiple national and international awards. Guardiola established himself as one of the most experienced coaches in football history before joining City, having enjoyed great success with Barcelona and Bayern Munich. City supporters will recall his reign as a time of exceptional success and hegemony.
At first, there were high hopes that Guardiola wouldn’t remain longer than the three years he committed to when he joined Manchester City. It was widely believed that he would look for fresh opportunities in Italy with the goal of managing in all of Europe’s top domestic leagues. However, it appears that Guardiola’s ideas have changed. His ongoing goals and drive to pursue new football opportunities are shown by the fact that he is currently thinking about other possibilities, such as the potential of leading an international team.
Out of his seven seasons with the club, he has managed to win the Premier League title on five occasions. His feat this season after leading his squad to a historic treble and a third consecutive Premier League title has put him on par as Sir Alex Ferguson.
