Erling Haaland, a striker for Manchester City, has been re-signed, according to Nike.
Haaland’s earlier endorsement agreement with Nike expired in January 2022, and the Norwegian’s team has been diligent in their search for a replacement arrangement. It is believed that the calibre of the product on offer will play a significant role in their decision.
Haaland has been seen wearing boots from other manufacturers since his initial contract expired, but he is now only wearing Nike.
“Haaland’s unprecedented rise through European Club football, complete with a staggering pace of record-breaking goal scoring, cements his stamp on the future of the game,” a Nike statement read.
“Haaland’s commitment to holistic fitness — honored in his famed celebrations — boost his strengths on pitch: goal-scoring instinct, power, positioning, pace and precision.”
Jack Grealish, a City teammate, has decided to go from Nike to Puma, while Neymar and Raheem Sterling have negotiated other deals.
