Harvey Elliott resumes training for Liverpool

Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott picked up a serious injury during Liverpool’s clash with Leeds United back in September. The midfielder put up decent performances during the start of the season till his injury.

Harvey Elliott was pictured at Liverpool’s AXA Training Centre yesterday resuming light training. This is good news for the Reds, considering their growing injury list. Other Liverpool midfielders, Thiago, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones and James Milner are still out with injury and while on international duty, Mane and Robertson have been suspected to have picked up injuries.

Andy Robertson could be sidelined after a suspected hamstring injury

During Scotland’s win over Denmark last night, Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson limped off the pitch in during the 79th minute. Robertson’s injury has been suspected to be a hamstring injury. He was spotted walking freely and quite well after the game, however, scans and further examinations will determine the severity of the injury.

Should Andy Robertson be out of action, Kostas Tsimikas will get the chance to continue his spectacular form for Liverpool again. On the hand, Liverpool are concerned with their growing injury list. Now, they have Sadio Mane to be concerned about after he was suspected to be having a rib injury. Joe Gomez, Thiago Alcantara, Roberto Firmino, Harvey Elliott, James Milner and Naby Keita.
