Inter Milan transfer news: Inter is looking to reinforce their defensive options with Milan Skriniar set to depart the club
Trevoh Chalobah, a defender for Chelsea, is expected to be a target for Inter Milan during the upcoming summer transfer window. According to sources, the Italian club has contacted Chelsea to show interest in perhaps signing the 23-year-old center-back.
Chalobah is rumored to be eager to speak with Inter Milan if his present club gives him the chance. Chalobah has been sought by Inter before; back in the January transfer window, they enquired about his availability. Inter Milan has now re-engaged Chelsea with their interest as the primary transfer window draws near.
Chelsea has not yet decided what Chalobah’s future at the club will be as of yet. The defender extended his contract in November, keeping him with Stamford Bridge till 2028. Chalobah has made 35 appearances this season thanks to his performance, with 25 of those coming in the Premier League. He has been in the starting eleven for 18 league games and has been a consistent starter.
In addition to Inter Milan’s pursuit of Chalobah, Brighton has also shown interest in the Chelsea defender. Chalobah and Moises Caicedo, a midfielder for Brighton, may be involved in a swap deal. Chelsea had previously indicated interest in the Brighton player, Caicedo, who has attracted a lot of interest from other clubs as well.

Another team with interest in Caicedo is Arsenal. Chalobah may go to the Amex Stadium under the suggested exchange arrangement, while Caicedo would travel to Stamford Bridge. The possible deal’s specifics have not yet been decided.
This proves that Inter’s move for Chalobah could face some complications and they might have to look somewhere else. Milan Skriniar’s departure to PSG as a free agent has left the Italian club in need of another quality center back.
