Is Carlo Ancelotti Going to Brazil?

Following the recent rumours linking Carlo Ancelotti to manage Brazil, many have been asking “Is Carlo Ancelotti going to Brazil?” We don’t know for sure but the Brazilian FA has confirmed that the Real Madrid manager is their Plan A in their hunt for a new coach.

Brazil continues to prioritise Ancelotti as their ideal management candidate, and they are ready to wait the entire month of May to get his services. Ancelotti is the top option of the CBF, according to President Ednaldo Rodrigues, who also noted that “given his excellent work with Real Madrid, we think he would be a great fit for Brazil.” Ancelotti, however, has said that he would remain at Real Madrid for as long as the organisation permits him to do so, adding that “everything is quite clear.”

It’s important to note that the CBF has come under fire for keeping up its chase of Ancelotti, with some alleging that this demonstrates a lack of confidence in Brazilian managers. However, Rodrigues has said that they have coaches from Brazilian contests and are not disparaging any coaches from their nation. Even while there are signs that Brazil is interested in Ancelotti, it is still unknown whether a deal would be made.

Carlo Ancelotti is not the only foreign coach to have been linked with the position. Roma’s Jose Mourinho was caught in the rumors but as things stand now, it looks like Brazil would be very much interested in landing Ancelotti.
