Joao Palhinha suffers shoulder injury in pre-season match against Brentford

Joao Palhinha, a Portuguese football player, sustained an injury during Fulham’s pre-season match against Brentford.

This injury puts him in danger of potentially missing the beginning of the Premier League season.

The midfielder was replaced in the first half of the game, with his arm being supported by a sling. The coach has expressed concern, suggesting that the injury is significant.

“Unfortunately, it doesn’t look good. It looks like he has dislocated his shoulder. Tomorrow (today) he will have tests and we hope it is not a long-term injury,” said Silva after the final whistle.

Palhinha, who was a standout player for Fulham last season and was even nominated for the club’s Player of the Year award, has been rumored to be transferring to West Ham. West Ham is looking to replace Declan Rice, who recently moved to Arsenal.
