Juventus vs AS Roma Review
Juventus and Roma played to a lackluster 0-0 draw at the Allianz Stadium, leaving Roma without a win in their first three Serie A matches and worsening their head-to-head record against Juventus to just one victory in nine encounters.

Juventus had won their first two games, but it was the winless Roma who started the match more brightly. Lorenzo Pellegrini nearly scored after being set up by Bryan Cristante, but his shot deflected just wide. Juventus began to find their rhythm, but it wasn’t until just before halftime that they managed their first shot on target, which Dušan Vlahović mishit and was easily saved by Mile Svilar.

In an effort to change the dynamics of the game, Thiago Motta gave debuts to new signings Teun Koopmeiners and Francisco Conceição at the beginning of the second half. However, neither player made an immediate impact as both teams struggled to gain control. The visitors also faced challenges, prompting Daniele De Rossi to bring in Paulo Dybala to face his former team. As the final 15 minutes approached, neither of the two Italian powerhouses had managed a shot on target, despite numerous substitutions from both sides.

Ultimately, a significant lack of finishing ability left both goalkeepers, Svilar and Michele Di Gregorio, as mere spectators for much of the match. The draw allows Juventus to maintain their unbeaten start to the season as they head into the international break. This draw could also be crucial for De Rossi, as he seeks to improve Roma’s performance, having recorded no wins and only one goal so far.
