Latest Tottenham Transfer News: Daniel Levy is much determined to keep hold of Harry Kane beyond this summer with various outlets linking the striker to Bayern

Bayern Munich, the reigning champions of the German bundesliga, initiated negotiations for a potential transfer of Tottenham’s star player Harry Kane as they look to bolster their attacking options.

Various media sources, such as The Athletic, have disclosed that Bayern Munich made an initial bid of 70 million euros, with additional bonuses, to secure the services of the English national team captain.

However, reports from Sky Sports News indicate that Tottenham has declined the offer and has reiterated that Kane is not for sale.

Bayern Munich expressed their interest in signing Harry Kane as their top choice for the striker position. However, Kane’s contract with Tottenham is set to expire in just one year, and it appears unlikely that he will sign an extension at the moment.

Club chairman Daniel Levy hopes to retain the services of the England skipper and eventually extend his contract this coming season. As per reports from English media, Kane desires to add some trophies to his personal accomplishments.

While at Tottenham, he has secured the Premier League Golden Boot on three occasions, become the club’s top scorer, and risen to second place on the all-time Premier League scorers list. Nevertheless, he has not yet won any major titles.

However, this situation would likely change if he were to join Bayern. According to Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg, Kane himself might be interested in a move to Germany.

Last season, Kane netted 30 goals in the Premier League, with only Erling Haaland of Manchester City scoring more frequently with 36 goals.
