Darwin Nunez was the most recent player to be added to the Liverpool injured list, and he was absent from training on Thursday.
This season, Liverpool has coped with a variety of injury issues, particularly up front where Diogo Jota and Luiz Diaz have both been sidelined with knee and calf problems since early October.
Nunez has reportedly been put to the list of forwards who are currently unavailable after failing to show up for the club’s training session the day before the Reds’ match against Brighton & Hove Albion.

The bulk of the Premier League teams this season have found Brighton to be challenging opponents, notably Liverpool, who drew 3-3 with the high-flying south coast club at Anfield.
Nunez’s transition to Liverpool after his club-record signing in the summer has been rather up-and-down. The 23-year-old has only scored five Premier League goals so far, but he has occasionally dazzled with the amount of work he puts in during matches.
To start at the Amex Stadium on Saturday alongside Mohamed Salah and newcomer Cody Gakpo, who was acquired from PSV Eindhoven for £35 million in January, Klopp will be counting on his tenacious forward to be fit and available.
Virgil van Dijk, a crucial player for Klopp, will undoubtedly be missed for more than a month after sustaining a hamstring injury in the most recent loss to Brentford.
