Manchester United transfer news now: Inter is willing to offload Lautaro Martinez this summer to raise money

According to Football Insider, Inter Milan is willing to sell Lautaro Martnez during the forthcoming summer transfer window in order to raise money for the club.

Lautaro Martinez has been on Manchester United’s radar for sometime; however, they have a list of strikers they are interested in and Tottenham striker Harry Kane is reported to be on top of the list. According to the report, United may pursue a deal for Martinez if they are unable to sign Harry Kane.

The striker Martnez is anticipated to be available for around £70 million, and other European teams have also expressed interest in the player.

Spurs allegedly want £100 million for Kane, which has teams wary even though United is seeking a deal for the star. Bayern Munich are also reportedly in the running for Harry Kane; however, reports claim that the England star prefers to remain in England.

It was rumoured last week that Tottenham Chairman, Daniel Levy, will be more willing to sell the striker off to a team outside England. According to the rumour, he may even lower his £100 million valuation for the player. This puts United and any interested English team in a difficult position to sign him.

Perhaps this could be one of the reasons United may pursue Martinez. Also, the manager of United, Erik ten Hag, is looking for a frontman who can push and fit into his high-intensity approach, and Martnez is thus considered as a good alternative.

Real Madrid and Arsenal are keeping an eye on the issue, so United could need to act swiftly to capture the services of the former Racing Club midfielder. Martinez has a remarkable record, scoring 21 goals in 47 games across all competitions this season and 48 times for Argentina, collecting two prestigious awards, including the World Cup in Qatar.
