Manuel Ugarte joins PSG on a five-year deal

Paris Saint-Germain have announced the signing of Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte from Sporting CP. The 22-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Ligue 1 club, reportedly for a fee of €60 million.

Ugarte is a highly-rated young midfielder who has been on the radar of several top European clubs in recent months. He made his breakthrough at Sporting CP, making 85 appearances in all competitions. 

Ugarte is a central midfielder who can also play as a defensive midfielder. He is known for his strong tackling, passing ability, and vision. He is also a good ball carrier and has a powerful shot from distance.
