Matthias Jaissle appointed as Al Ahli boss after being sacked by RB Salzburg

Matthias Jaissle has been appointed as the manager of Al Ahli on a three-year contract, according to the Saudi Pro League club.

This announcement comes shortly after Red Bull Salzburg dismissed the German coach.

Jaissle, who used to play for Hoffenheim, expressed his desire to join the Saudi team, leading to his release from his previous position.

“We believe that a coach who is so intensely concerned with a possible change of club just two days before the start of an important season should not be there for this opener either,” Salzburgmanaging director Stephen Rider said in a statement.

“We want to start the new season with full energy and conviction. To do that, we need 100% focus from everyone involved.””We believe that a coach who is so intensely concerned with a possible change of club just two days before the start of an important season should not be there for this opener either,” Salzburgmanaging director Stephen Rider said in a statement.
