News On Lionel Messi: La Liga President has talked about the possibility Lionel Messi joining Barcelona and how it can happen
Javier Tebas, the president of La Liga, has recently shed some light on the measures that Barcelona will have to take in order to legally re-sign Lionel Messi during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Currently, Messi is playing for Paris Saint-Germain, and his contract with the French club is set to expire at the end of the season. There have been no indications that a new deal is imminent, and rumors are swirling that the Argentine superstar could be returning to his former team, Barcelona.
According to reports, PSG has accepted that Messi is likely to leave after a two-year stint in France, and discussions are underway regarding his potential return to the Catalan club. However, the re-signing of Messi is subject to certain conditions that Barcelona must fulfill in order to comply with La Liga regulations.
Messi previously left Barcelona in 2021 after the club was unable to register his contract under strict financial rules implemented by La Liga in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Since then, Barcelona’s financial situation has been precarious, with the club having to resort to various measures to enhance their ability to spend in the transfer market.
Despite these efforts, Tebas has emphasized that Barcelona still needs to make additional concessions before Messi can be re-registered with the club. It remains to be seen what those concessions are and whether Barcelona will be able to meet them.
Nonetheless, Messi’s potential return to Barcelona has generated a great deal of excitement among fans of the club, who are hoping that his presence will help the team regain its former glory. The Argentine superstar spent over two decades with the Catalan giants, winning numerous titles and becoming one of the greatest players of all time. If he does return to the club this summer, it will undoubtedly be one of the biggest transfer stories of the year.
“Barça must take many financial measures to undertake Messi’s registration. They need lot of effort to make it happen,” he said.

“Today, I don’t see his signing as feasible. But there’s a lot of time left – Barça can still make moves to get Leo. We are still awaiting a feasibility plan from Barcelona. They need a big effort to make it happen. They can sell players, for sure – but they still have some players to register too.”
In his recent comments, La Liga president Javier Tebas alluded to a number of Barcelona players who may be on the verge of leaving the club due to its financial situation. One of the players that Tebas specifically mentioned is Gavi, a talented midfielder who has recently returned to playing under his youth contract. This was after both La Liga and the Spanish courts ruled that Barcelona could not register a new senior deal for him.
Gavi has been a standout performer for Barcelona in recent months, impressing both fans and pundits alike with his skill and composure on the ball. However, with his contract set to expire in the summer, it remains to be seen whether he will stay at the club or move on to pastures new.

Several top clubs, including Chelsea, have been extensively linked with a move for Gavi in recent weeks. The London-based side are said to be impressed by the young midfielder’s ability and potential, and are reportedly keen to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
