PSG Transfer News: PSG have made contact with Rasmus Højlund, a priority target for Manchester United.

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is making a bold attempt to hijack Manchester United’s pursuit of the highly-rated Atalanta forward, Rasmus Højlund (20). Famous football journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that PSG has entered the chase for a prolific striker this summer after failing to get their top targets in the same position during the last transfer window.

PSG is aiming to get the young Danish sensation Højlund, despite already having their eyes set on Harry Kane, Tottenham Hotspur’s talismanic attacker. Kane is reportedly PSG’s top target, according to rumors in the French media, while Bayern Munich is also reportedly very interested in hiring the England captain.

According to Fabrizio Romano’s most recent reports, PSG is actively speaking with Højlund’s support group to determine whether getting him to the Parc des Princes is feasible. The French powerhouses are going all-out in their search for a world-class striker after being let down by their pursuit of Robert Lewandowski, who finally decided to go on to Barcelona last summer.t

However, Manchester United is not ready to give up on their pursuit of the gifted Danish attacker. The Red Devils have already reached an agreement with Atalanta regarding personal terms for Højlund and are preparing to submit an opening offer imminently. Their quick action is intended to disrupt PSG’s attempts to wrest the player from their control.

Højlund is one possibility that Paris Saint-Germain has identified for their striking department should they be unable to persuade him to join them. Their short list also includes Victor Osimhen, Duan Vlahovic, and Randal Kolo Muani in addition to Harry Kane. PSG continues to place a high priority on finding an offensive reinforcement, and they are looking into every avenue to find the ideal candidate.

The race to recruit Højlund has heated up as Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain both show a steadfast desire to improve their offensive capabilities for the next season.
