Real Madrid News Latest: Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been given a guarantee to return to Real Madrid by Florentino Perez

A few months after moving to Al-Nassr to become the highest-paid player in the sport, there have been rumblings in Spain that football ace Cristiano Ronaldo has been offered a role at Real Madrid.

Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia in January after his contract with Manchester United was terminated “by mutual consent” as a result of an interview with Pier Morgan in which he criticised the team. He had originally wanted to continue playing in Europe and add to his record of 140 Champions League goals, but no offers came through.

In order to avoid playing in a different league or perhaps retiring, Ronaldo chose to join Al-Nassr, who gave him the highest-paying deal in sports history by offering him a contract worth €200 million annually. But it seems as though the Portuguese striker is already second-guessing his choice.

Ronaldo might not be entirely happy with his present circumstances despite his enormous income. Real Madrid is reportedly interested in bringing him back to the team where he previously achieved great success. Ronaldo is still regarded as one of Real Madrid’s most recognisable players even though he departed the team in 2018 after helping the team win many Champions League championships.

Although it is unclear if Ronaldo will finally choose to accept the rumoured offer from Real Madrid or stay with Al-Nassr, the notion of him working for his old side again is undoubtedly an exciting opportunity.

Real Madrid News Latest: Florentino Perez has reportedly guaranteed Ronaldo a role at Real Madrid

“If the ex- Juventus and Sporting player end up leaving Al-Nassr and returns to Spain, Perez has guaranteed him work at the Santiago Bernabeu.

“Obviously it would not be as a players – he considers that period closed – but he could offer Ronaldo a position as ambassador for Madrid, or even a role among the sports organisation.”

In 14 games for Al-Nassr, Ronaldo has scored an astounding 11 goals, making his time in Saudi Arabia fruitful. However, The Knights of Najd, his squad, are presently three points behind Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League. Their manager Rudi Garcia was fired two weeks ago, which made matters worse in the club. According to reports, Ronaldo’s family is eager to move back to Spain, maybe as a result of the harsh social restrictions and communication difficulties they face in Saudi Arabia.
