Sergio Aguero to undergo treatment for a suspected cardiovascular ailment and could be out of action for at least 3 months
Sergio Aguero was forced off the pitch during Barcelona’s encounter with Alaves last Saturday after feeling discomfort in his chest and having difficulty in breathing.
Aguero was rushed off to the hospital after that incident and several tests were run on him. A report from Sport claimed that Aguero has been diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia and that further tests was needed to determine the severity of the cardiac problem.
Aguero just returned from an injury lay off and was settling into the team until this unfortunate incident. He has only featured in 4 games for the Catalans and has been able to net 1 goal.

A club statement confirmed: “The first team player Sergio Aguero has been subjected to a diagnostic and therapeutic process by Dr.Josep Brugada.
“He is unavailable for selection and during the next three months the effectiveness of treatment will be evaluated in order to determine his recovery process.”
