Thomas Tuchel allegedly made the six-person shortlist for Ghana’s new manager.
Unexpectedly, the former Chelsea manager—who was fired in September after a dismal start to the Premier League season—has been predicted to take over the Black Stars.
Otto Addo resigned from his position with the Ghanaian FA after his team was eliminated from the World Cup, and replacements are being lined up.

Thomas Tuchel is being considered by the African giants despite recently putting his name up to succeed Gareth Southgate should the England manager decide to walk down in the new year.
According to reports from Ghana, the 49-year-old strategist is on a shortlist that also includes Chris Houghton, a former manager of Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion.
For the previous ten months, Houghton, whose father is Ghanaian, has served as the Black Star’s technical advisor. The illustrious George Boateng, another part of the current Ghana lineup, is rumored to be a contender. Boateng, a former midfielder for Middlesbrough and Aston Villa, was named Addo’s assistant in May.
The German coach would undoubtedly be the most stunning choice, especially in light of his connections to the England position should Southgate resign.
According to a story published by the Telegraph last month, Tuchel was instructed to depart the UK by the end of December because the conditions of his post-Brexit visa were no longer acceptable.
After experiencing a wave of success at Stamford Bridge, the former manager of Mainz, Borussia Dortmund, and Paris Saint-Germain is rumoured to be waiting patiently for the ideal situation to return to management.
