West Ham vs Chelsea Review
Nicolas Jackson was instrumental in all of Chelsea’s goals during their 3-0 victory over West Ham in the Premier League, which marked their first away win against them since April 2021. Chelsea dominated the match from the outset and were quickly rewarded, just four minutes in, Jackson took a free-kick and made a forward run, scoring by slipping the ball through Alphonse Areola’s legs.

In the 18th minute, Jackson received a pass from Moisés Caicedo that split the defense and calmly placed the ball past Areola, achieving consecutive braces against the Hammers. West Ham tried to get back into the match, but Julen Lopetegui appeared increasingly frustrated on the sidelines. Jarrod Bowen missed a chance by shooting high and wide, and Marc Cucurella managed to deflect Mohammed Kudus’ shot, making it an easy save for Robert Sánchez. Although the home team began to pose more of a threat, their frustrations grew when Crysencio Summerville was denied a penalty and Kudus scored but was ruled offside.

After Noni Madueke’s attempt in the 37th minute, Lopetegui’s dissatisfaction was evident as he substituted Guido Rodríguez for Tomáš Souček. Chelsea quickly scored their third goal just three minutes into the second half, with Jackson again playing a key role by passing to Palmer, who scored off the near post. Lopetegui made two more substitutions in the 54th minute, but there was little improvement, as Chelsea easily countered, with Madueke’s shot being saved by Areola. João Félix then sent a shot into the side netting, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka deflected Caicedo’s attempt wide.

Chelsea maintained their flawless away record in the Premier League this season, achieving consecutive clean sheets. On the other hand, West Ham has suffered defeats in all of their home league games this season.
