Al Nassr Cristiano Ronaldo insisted that the team play a more attacking football which according to reports has led to the sacking of Rudi
According to Arab newspaper Arriyadiyah, the hierarchy of Al-Nassr have taken into consideration Cristiano Ronaldo’s opinion that the team should play more attacking football when deciding to relieve manager Rudi Garcia of his duties. While the club has not yet announced Garcia’s exit, it is reported that the Frenchman’s stint has come to an end at Mrsool Park.

Al-Nassr’s goalless league draw against Al-Fayha on April 9 was disappointing for fans, but the club’s hierarchy had not considered sacking Garcia until the next day, when the coach reportedly attacked his players during a team meeting. According to reports, Garcia blamed the players for the draw and made harsh comments about some of them, including labeling Abdulrahman Ghareeb, the team’s joint-top assist provider in the league, an ordinary player.

After learning about the situation from several players, the Al-Nassr hierarchy reportedly consulted with Cristiano Ronaldo and other players before making a decision about the manager’s future. Ronaldo’s opinion that the team should play more attacking football was reportedly one of the reasons behind the club’s decision to part ways with Garcia, despite the coach’s plan to use a defensive 5-4-1 formation moving forward.
It remains to be seen who Al-Nassr will appoint as their new manager and how the team will perform under their new leadership. The club will need to make strategic decisions to ensure they can achieve their goals this season.
Who is Al Nassr coach?
Al-Nassr has appointed their Under-19 head coach, Dinko Jelicic, as the interim manager following the departure of Rudi Garcia. Jelicic is expected to lead the team until the club appoints a new permanent manager. There are rumors that the Saudi Pro League club is interested in hiring Jose Mourinho as their new boss, and they are reportedly willing to offer the AS Roma manager €100 million to join them.

Al-Nassr has a crucial game against Al-Hilal on Tuesday (April 18), but it is unclear if they will have a new manager in place by then. It will be interesting to see who the club decides to appoint as their permanent manager and how they will perform under their leadership.
