Axel Hellmann, the CEO of Eintracht Frankfurt, has disclosed that the club recently received an offer to recruit Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo attempted to leave Manchester United in the summer while still under contract there. Despite the fact that Saudi Arabia made him a sizable offer, he chose to stay in Europe and play Champions League football.
Frankfurt, which was entering their debut season in Europe’s top club tournament after winning the Europa League the previous season, was one team that had been speculatively associated with Ronaldo.

Hellmann said in an interview with DAZN that Frankfurt had been contacted about a Cristiano Ronaldo potential move, but thought they were not the only ones.
“[Ronaldo] was even offered to us,” he said. “I have the feeling he was offered to every Champions League club.”
With Lionel Messi looming over him and Ronaldo looking to continue his scoring streak in the Champions League, it was thought that Ronaldo wanted to switch teams.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract with United was amicably ended around the end of November, and according to 90min, Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia has made him a world-record offer, which he has not yet accepted.
While everything was going on, Frankfurt, who placed second to Tottenham in the group stage, was able to advance to the round of 16. They will face Napoli in the round of 16.
