Football’s highest paid coaches in 2022
French Media outlet, L’Équipe has revealed the highest paid football coaches in Europe’s top five leagues and how much they earn. The listings were done according to how much each of them earns in a month. Below are the top 10 highest paid coaches in Europe:
10. Simone Inzaghi (Inter Milan) €620,000
Since he became the head coach for Inter last summer from Lazio, Inzaghi’s status raised which allowed him to increase his monthly salary.
9. Julian Nagelsmann (Bayern Munich) €666,000
Nagelsmann is the highest paid in the Bundesliga and at just 34 years of age, he is making a remarkable feat in football.
8. Jose Mourinho (AS Roma) €770,000
The list cannot be complete without Mourinho, as he is a top class coach; for his services, Roma pays him a whooping €770,000 monthly.
7. Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid) €910,000
It is not surprising to see Real Madrid’s manager here; Carlo Ancelotti has earned a reputation for himself and has established himself as one of the best coaches in the world. His salary puts him the second highest paid in La Liga.
6. Mauricio Pochettino (Paris St-Germain) €1,100,000
Being the highest paid coach in Ligue 1 with a whooping €1,100,000 with the next highest paid in the being Jorge Sampaoli and Christophe Galtier taking €330,000, which is way less.
5. Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus) €1,170,000
Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri tops as the highest paid in Serie A, however, results from him this season have not been good. Hopefully results will improve for him and his side.

4. Antonio Conte (Tottenham) €1,490,000
Spurs boss Antonio Conte who took charge of the team after the departure of Nuno Santo is fourth on the list but third in the Premier League. This is quite a huge figure he is being paid, considering the fact that he has not lived up to expectations yet.

3. Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool) €1,490,000
Earning the same amount as Antonio Conte is Jurgen Klopp; he really deserves it and perhaps more than that. Klopp has really brought Liverpool far since his appointment.
2. Pep Guardiola (Manchester City) €1,890,000
It is quite surprising that Pep is second on the list. Perhaps he should be earning more as he has brought Manchester City a long way since he was appointed and has achieved a lot with them in a very short time.

1. Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid) €3,330,000
Since Simeone was appointed in 2011 at Atletico Madrid, he has got them performing at a high level till date. He definitely deserves what he is earning because he has come a long way with the club.
