Juventus are interested in Jorginho
According to 90min, Arthur Melo is getting closer to signing a loan agreement with Valencia, opening the door for Juventus to pique their interest in Chelsea midfielder Jorginho.
According to 90min, Valencia and Juventus are close to finalizing a deal for the season-long loan of Arthur. The player and Valencia manager Gennaro Gattuso, who is rumored to be a great admirer, had fruitful discussions on Tuesday that appear to have persuaded him to return to La Liga.
La Liga’s non-EU player regulations may be one hurdle that prevents the transfer from moving forward. One of their three non-EU player slots would need to be made available if Arthur is not signed before the 2022–2023 season begins in order to finalize the deal. Maxi Gomez, if a substitution is required, would replace Arthur.

Arthur could be leaving for Valencia, but according to 90min, Monaco is now in the lead in the fight to acquire Adrien Rabiot. Before moving on with negotiations, the French midfielder is waiting to see if the Ligue 1 team makes it into the UEFA Champions League. The club and PSV Eindhoven tied 1-1 in the first leg of their third qualifying round matchup this week.
Juventus has increased their interest in bringing Jorginho on loan before the transfer deadline as a result of Rabiot and Arthur possibly departing the team, Aaron Ramsey having already departed, and Paul Pogba’s injury keeping him out until early September.
Back in May, 90min claimed that Chelsea would let Jorginho to leave Stamford Bridge this summer and that, if he were to go, his favourite destination would be Serie A. The Blues’ desire to sign Frenkie de Jong will be crucial to any deal including Jorginho. According to 90min, Chelsea’s negotiations with Barcelona over the midfielder are going well, and this deal would open the door for Juventus to sign Jorginho.
